SAINT HELENA CYO
Saint Helena CYO is a parish-based academic and athletic program that falls within the parameters of the parish’s comprehensive youth ministry program. CYO allows youth to discover and grow in their relationship with God, provides opportunities to grow in faith and understanding of their Church, and helps them become responsible participants in their faith community through involvement in athletic and academic programs that promote the holistic development of young people. St. Helena CYO provides athletic opportunities for the following sports for fifth through eighth graders: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country (Grades K-8), Field Hockey, Girls Flag Football (Grades 4-8), Football (combined parishes), Soccer, Softball, Spring Track (Grades 4-8), Spring PeeWee Track (Grades K-3), and Volleyball.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be an eligible participant in a Saint Helena CYO sport, children must meet one of the following criteria:

a student of Saint Helena School

a child of a registered St. Helena Parish member who attends a non-Parish Catholic school at which they receive a Catholic education.

a child of a registered St. Helena Parish member who attends a public or other non-Catholic school, and is registered for and regularly attends the St. Helena Church PREP program (applies through eighth grade).

a child of a registered St. Helena Parish member who attends a different parish's school provided the school does not offer the sport which the child is playing at St. Helena.

a child of a registered St. Helena Parish member who attends a different parish's school and the child elects to play all of his or her CYO sports for St. Helena before registering for or trying out for the other school's teams.
